The setting up for the 2013 edition of Creative Space Serbia develops the metaphor of the “memory box” through the design of a cosy environment, dominated by the red colour of Creative Space Serbia’s brand. The modular floor is realized through the recycle of wooden scraps coming from Serbia’s carpentery companies and showing all the different wood typologies that the country usually kneads.
For the second edition of Creative Space Serbia during the 2012 Milan Design Week, Mirko Tattarini designs the setting up of the Officina’s booth in Zona Tortona through a series of suspended, illuminated volumes. Their enveloping effect favours the interaction of people with furniture, as visitors are invited to bow one’s head to enter the light zone surrounding every piece of furniture.
In the occasion of the Salone del Mobile 2011 preview of the first Aston Martin Interiors collection produced by Formitalia Luxury Group, Lagos designs the setting up at the Milanese Rosa Grand Hotel. The concept, a spy hotel inspired by James Bond’s cult, is declined according to the Aston Martin brand values: understatement, British elegance, the excellence of materials and craftsmanship.
Lagos designs the project of the setting up for the Serbian pavillon -Creative Space Serbia- at the Salone del Mobile 2011 in the Ex Ansaldo area (“Innovation/Imagination.Face to Superstudio Più” exhibition). The concept wants to represent a metaphorical launching ramp which projects the new generation of Serbian designers into the international scene.
For Design Apparat launch in Superstudio in April ’09, Lagos Design Studios has curated the setting up for the ”21st Class Objects” collection: set in Superstudio’s basement, the exhibition played with Soviet imaginery combining vintage objects and modern pieces.
Lagos designs, in collaboration with Plus Architecture, a skyscraper to be built in Burgas, Bulgaria. The facade embodies a media surface which can represent digital images. The project has won the ex-aequo first prize for the international concept competition organized by the Bulgarian Architecture Association.
